Mini Review 7- Swallows and Amazons.

Stuck to the classic childrens tale, but felt old fashioned. Catchy music, clever set/ props and well acted but not as incredible or inventive as it makes itself out to be.

Mini Review 6- Urashimo Taro (& post show talk)

A japanese folk tale performed using (slightly terrifying) life sized puppets. Different to anything I've seen before, technically very good, but something slightly bizarre.

Interesting to hear from the company afterwards about the devising of the piece and the method of working with puppets. Puppettry seems to be a lot more complex and intricate than I expected.
