Mini Review 5- Matilda

Tim Minchin is a genius. A brilliant adaptation, very funny, perfect for all ages, one of the best sets I have ever seen, even the annoying child actors were good (apart from matilda). Some flaws and kinks to be worked out still- needed to decide if it wanted Trunchball funny or evil, but still very good for a new show.

Mini Review 4- Hamlet

Who would have thought Hamlet could be enjoyable and funny? And all it needed was two men and some african chanting. A completely unique production that should never have worked but completely did.

Mini Review 3- Blithe Spirit

Though it had a lot of big names in, and I can appreciate it was a well done show, it felt like something my grandparents would have enjoyed rather than me.

Mini Reveiw 2- Lily Through the Dark.

Utterly compelling and beautifully moving; took the audience on a journey creating an incredible atmosphere- from laugher to complete silence. Very intelligently performed- subject wise and staging wise- whilst still in the guise of a children’s story.

Mini Review 1- Enron

Possibly the first play I have ever not got straight away. Too much buisness jargon and relience on pop culture refernces and flashy lights, but when stripped to basics a fairly moving story about the consequences of human failings.
